Alistage Alistage" is the trading name of London based Aliscaff Limited, formed in 1975. We are now probably the largest single stock holder of aluminium framed modular stage units in the United Kingdom. Our modular staging system is used worldwide eg. Singapore, Holland, Hungary, Greece etc. Alistage is more than just a stage deck. It is a comprehensive and integrated system of modular staging and stages, with possibly the widest range of accessories of any stage system available. All components are designed to "fit" together rather than appearing to be "bolt on afterthoughts". Along with our staging, modular staging and stages we also manufacture rostra and podiums. We have over 65 shapes and sizes of modular staging, with a wide variety of surfaces from standard plywood to Perspex and punched metal grid-decks. This gives designers a huge choice when designing a new stage concept. Alistage is regularly used in television and film work, major exhibitions, radio road- shows, theatres, schools and all types of concerts, both indoor and outdoor. The staging range of equipment allows greater flexibility in set design without resorting to modular staging "specials" which can be both expensive and time consuming to make.
The Alistage modular stage system can also be used in an alternative mode as a Modular Tiered Seating System. The system also lends itself for use as a choral or viewing platform when supplied without seating. Each standard tier has a 200mm (8") rise (variations available), making for perfect audience viewing. Any number of 1220mm (4') wide gangways can be incorporated, as required by the size of the completed unit. Our tiered seating system is the perfect answer to comfortable viewing for all venues, all occasions and events both outdoors and indoors.
Designed to integrate with the Alistage modular stage system, the Alidome roof system features include: Spans available from 16' (4.88m) to 40' (12.2m) We also supply two other roof systems called the "System 2000" and “The Eclipse”, that again are available in different modular sizes.
Alistage also supply a mobile dance podium that can be moved or easily transported. Besides standard podiums we can also make dance podiums to your own design. The podium bases are constructed of lightweight aluminium, with a vinyl finish on a timber deck as standard. Other surfaces can be supplied on request. We also manufacture the Polestar range of dance poles. There are several options of dance poles, with the most popular “Polestar 10” not ordinarily requiring any permanent floor or ceiling fixings. Aluminium Couplers/Clamp Fittings We have a large range of aluminium couplers (extruded) to fit 2" (50.8mm) diameter tube. Used by trussing manufacturers and the Lighting & Sound industry generally. The aluminium clamps have a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 500kg with a 3:1 safety factor. Claw hook / snap hook fittings - originally designed for the construction industry, the heat-treated Aliscaff cast aluminium hook fittings have a SWL of 350kg, again with a 3:1 safety factor. A variety of spigot and mechanism sizes are available to accommodate a large range of wall thickness. Aluminium Scaffold Towers We manufacture a large range of BS accredited aluminium scaffold towers in several types and sizes. We also supply specialist towers for use on chimneys and in stairwells. |
