How Air-Weigh works
The patented Air-Weigh® Scale converts air pressure in the prime mover and trailer air suspensions into an accurate, on-the-ground weight. Air suspension, with a height control valve maintains a constant ride height. The Air-Weigh scale electronically senses the smallest changes in air pressure required to support the vehicle load at the specified ride height. Once calibrated, the scale displays the weight of the axle groups, GVW, and payload on the in cab display.
Easy to install and operate
Most Air-Weigh products can be fitted on site by an Air-Weigh engineer in just four to five hours. To weigh your vehicle accurately simply ensure that it is parked on a flat level surface and that the air suspension is fully aired up by briefly releasing the brakes. The ride height valve should be in good repair and operating at factory specifications.
Important notes:
Your vehicle must be equipped with air-ride suspension.
You must determine if your vehicle runs with a single or dual leveling valve for the left and right sides of the air suspension. This will ensure that the correct Air-Weigh system is supplied and installed on your vehicle.
Warranty
If your Air-Weigh product fails due to defective parts or factory workmanship, we will repair or replace it for one full year from date of purchase.

The Air-Weigh 5800 series operates with ComLink remote sensor technology. Sensors read the pressure in the truck and trailer suspensions, this data is then processed by the Comlink. The weight data from the trailer is sent to the in cab display via multiplexing technology over the vehicle\'s existing trailer Susie cables. This means that no extra coils or sockets are required to hook up the on board weighing system.
The display module shows the actual on-the-ground weight of the vehicle for each of the individual axle groups, GVW, and any change in the net payload. No recalibration or trailer ID input is required when trailers are swapped. Simply hook up , weigh , and get on with your job knowing your load is maximized and legal.
